Our Story
Set up by Gemma Newman in October 2012, in a little village hall, the school has gone from strength to strength and grown not only in size but also in passion. Now offering more than 20 classes a week to about 200-300 students, we are growing year after year. We are affiliated with Royal Holloway University and represent them as their pole and hoop society, competing all over the country.
We love how confident people feel in their own skin, and mind, at the studio and that is something that we really pride ourselves in. A lot of students start with feeling subconscious and worried, yet always leave a smile.
We strive to be as encouraging as possible and welcoming to all body types, backgrounds, age, gender and ethnicity.
So what's stopping you?
Our Classes
All our lessons start with a cardio warm up, followed by some strength and conditioning moves. We will then complete the lesson plan that has been created specifically for the class, learn new moves and ending with a cool down.
Pole and hoop classes will be taught on the highest quality equipment – we use X-Poles & Firetoys hoops and there are a maximum of two people per kit. We also use high quality Ceetex crash mats for your safety.
Pole Fitness
The emphasis here is on the 'fitness' part. Starting a cardio warm up, we would then move onto some conditioning to help you get and stay fit for our aerial classes. We would work on tricks and combos and flows in this class
Pole Dancing
The emphasis here is on the 'dance'. This class is all about movement and feeling and expressing yourself. Whether you want to wear heels or ballet shoes, this is a chance for you to dress up, roll around the floor and just feel the music.
Beginner
This is ideal for a complete beginner, someone who has never had a pole lesson before or hasn’t had one in a while. Simple walk, spins and climbs will be learnt. You must complete the beginners syllabus before moving up.
Intermediate 1
The beginners course must be completed before moving onto the Intermediate 1 class. More intricate spins, tricks, combos, climbs and inverts (going upside down) will take place in this lesson.
Intermediate 2
The Intermediate 1 syllabus must be completed before moving onto Intermediates 2. Stronger moves and combos will take place in this class and use of different grips.

Use the code 'TASTER' when booking.
1-2-1 Classes
A private lesson, focussing on moves that want to be achieved and core strength. This lesson will be available when other group lessons are not scheduled.
Rent a pole or hoop
Our rental service is available for people to practise moves that have been previously taught. This is not a lesson, and moves are not to be taught by others, just a chance for you to practise and perfect your moves.
